We are committed to meeting the support needs of our students to ensure a fair chance to achieve their potential. We are a small centre in comparison to other local colleges and believe that we are able to offer a more supportive, personalised experience. Our results in achievement, progression and student satisfaction have been fantastic and we continue to build on this success. We invest considerable resources into support as we work with diverse groups of students. We offer all of our 16-19 students:
- Small group sizes – typically 6-8 students per tutor
- Dedicated support team available at all times
- Monthly progress meeting for each student
- Drop-in progression workshops – job search, CV building, interview practice
We have a fantastic track record for working with students with Social, Emotional and Mental Health challenges (SEMH) and with Education and Health Care Plans. We are able to offer additional support and make reasonable adjustments as required. If you have any queries about a student with educational needs then please contact one of the senior management team on 0116 2621537.
